Media and Crisis Management Training

Yet another way we work with clients is to provide media training to help ensure they are able to speak confidently with reporters about their companies, handle difficult questions and promote their business strategies and goals.

These sessions include a comprehensive presentation on how reporters work and tips and techniques for effectively answering questions, followed by mock interviews to practice the concepts covered in the training.

Media training is particularly important when a company is facing situations that might inflict reputational harm if they become public. In some circumstances, we have conducted training sessions along with legal counsel to help shape messages and responses and prevent any missteps during media interviews or public testimony./

We also conduct crisis management training covering the basic communications principles companies, organizations and individuals should follow to mitigate reputational damage and move on as quickly as possible from controversial situations.

The training includes in-depth case studies involving well-know companies and crises to demonstrate how the failure to follow these principles can result in prolonged scrutiny from the media, regulators and state and federal legislators.
